Description:  Camp Catch Your Breath is a place to provide your child with the experience of a day camp while maintaining a healthy, medically safe environment where kids can have fun and learn about their asthma at the same time. Campers will learn about lung anatomy, proper medication delivery, how to avoid triggers, develop an asthma action plan, while providing an opportunity for campers to talk about their feelings dealing with asthma. Snacks, lunch, arts and crafts, and group games will also be included. Kids aged 5-12 are encouraged to attend. FREE but pre-registration REQUIRED.

ALSO HOMECARE PROVIDERS IN ATTENDENCE TO DEMONSTRATE ASTHMA EQUIPMENT AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. CAMP T SHIRT AND PARENT PACKET ARE GIVEN OUT THAT EVENING. THE CAMP IS TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. EACH DAY A NEW ACTIVITIY IS SCHEDULED. ASTHMA EDUCATION IS PROVIDED EACH DAY WITH A PRE AND POST TEST.
