Description:  A week long residential traditional summer camp for children with moderate to severe asthma, ages 7 to 14 years. Staffed by medical professionals who monitor the healthcare needs of the children around-the-clock. Camp Not-A-Wheeze educational sessions instill confidence in campers, teaching them how to manage their asthma.

Description:  Currently there are 241,067 children in Arizona living with special health care needs. Camp Soaring Eagle provides medically safe camping programs to children age 6-15 with chronic illnesses and their families. Campers submit a camper application for illness specific sessions based on the recommendation of their physician. What sets Camp Soaring Eagle apart from other youth-based camps in Arizona is the exceptional standards in medical care that the camp can provide. Medical professionals volunteer each weekend to provide the highest level of safety and care for our campers. Camp Soaring Eagle runs illness specific camping sessions and campers are referred from their pediatrician specialists to our program and accompanied by specialized pediatric nurses, doctors and social workers. Camp Soaring Eagle’s partner hospitals include: Cardon Children’s Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
